McFen Plant is proud to be the first plant hire company to achieve the prestigious FORS Gold accreditation. We have maintained our FORS Gold accreditation for over five years now as well as having three FORS practitioners working at our East London Depot.

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is an accreditation scheme that aims to improve fleet activity in London and throughout the UK and beyond.

The FORS ethos is a commitment to making roads safer and a reduction in CO2 emissions ensuring a cleaner, safer environment for all. This is achieved by a progression of certificates each one indicating the commitment to improvement of the receiving company, culminating in the Gold certificate awarded only when the FORS guidelines have been met or exceeded, ie; fitting approved safety equipment such as blind spot proximity sensors to your fleet of vehicles and to have monitored your CO2emissions and evidenced a reduction in the CO2emissions in your operation.
